This 9-day private tour blends Morocco’s most inspiring destinations into one memorable journey. Stay close to comfort with a private driver and guide as you explore Casablanca’s modern vibrancy, Rabat’s regal history, Chefchaouen’s blue charm, the Roman ruins of Volubilis, the imperial city of Fes, and the majestic Sahara Desert. Add the dramatic landscapes of Todra & Dades Gorges, Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, and the Atlas Mountains before the final stop in Marrakech (or return to Casablanca).

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca
  • Pick-up from airport or hotel.
  • Visit the Hassan II Mosque, walk along the Corniche, see Mohamed V Square and Rick’s Café (time permitting).
    Overnight in Casablanca.
Day 2: Casablanca → Rabat → Chefchaouen (6 hrs drive)
  • Depart after breakfast to Rabat. Visit Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, Oudaya Kasbah.
  • Then head north through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, the “Blue Pearl.”
    Overnight in a riad in Chefchaouen.
Day 3: Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Fes (≈4 hrs drive)
  • Morning wandering in Chefchaouen’s medina.
  • Drive to Volubilis (UNESCO site) to explore ancient Roman ruins.
  • Continue to Meknes: Bab Mansour Gate, Royal Stables, El Hedim Square.
  • Arrive in Fes in evening.
    Overnight in Fes.
Day 4: Full Day in Fes
  • In-depth tour of Fes: Royal Palace Gate, The Mellah (Jewish Quarter), Borj Sud panorama, then Medina with Al Attarine Madrasa, Al Quaraouiyine University & Chouara Tanneries.
    Overnight in Fes.
Day 5: Fes → Ifrane → Azrou → Midelt → Merzouga (≈7 hrs drive with stops)
  • Depart Fes through the Middle Atlas via Ifrane (aka “Switzerland of Morocco”).
  • Visit cedar forests in Azrou. Lunch in Midelt.
  • Continue via Ziz Valley to reach Merzouga.
  • Camel trek at sunset
    Overnight in a luxury desert camp.
Day 6: Merzouga → Rissani → Erfoud → Todra Gorge → Dades Valley (≈4 hrs drive)
  • Early desert sunrise, return by camel or 4×4.
  • Visit Rissani market & Erfoud fossil workshops.
  • Drive via Todra Gorge, explore the canyon cliffs.
  • Continue to Dades Valley, stop at viewpoints.
    Overnight in Dades Valley.
Day 7: Dades Valley → Rose Valley → Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou → Marrakech (≈6 hrs drive)
  • Drive through the Rose Valley and Skoura palm groves.
  • Visit Ouarzazate (“Hollywood of Morocco”).
  • Explore Ait Ben Haddou (UNESCO World Heritage).
  • Cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka. Arrive in Marrakech.

    Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 8: Full Day in Marrakech
  • Guided tour: Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Koutoubia Mosque, Majorelle Garden.
  • Explore the souks, Jemaa el-Fna square, local markets.
    Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 9: Marrakech → Casablanca (≈3 hrs drive)
  • Optional free time in Marrakech depending on your schedule.
  • Drive back to Casablanca for departure.

    End of tour.
