Itinerary
Day 1: Casablanca → Rabat → Chefchaouen (5 hrs drive)
Pick-up in Casablanca (airport or hotel).
Visit Hassan II Mosque, Morocco’s iconic landmark.
Drive to Rabat, explore Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and Oudaya Kasbah.
Continue to Chefchaouen, the “Blue Pearl.”
Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Day 2: Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Fes (5 hrs drive)
Free morning to enjoy Chefchaouen’s blue-washed medina.
Visit Volubilis Roman ruins (UNESCO).
Stop in Meknes: Bab Mansour, El Hedim Square.
Arrive in Fes in the evening.
Overnight in Fes.
Day 3: Full Day in Fes
Guided tour of Fes medina: Al Quaraouiyine University, Bou Inania Madrasa, tanneries, artisan workshops.
Overnight in Fes.
Day 4: Fes → Ifrane → Azrou → Midelt → Merzouga (7 hrs drive with stops)
Stop in Ifrane (known as “Switzerland of Morocco”).
Visit Azrou cedar forest (Barbary macaques).
Drive through the Ziz Valley with palm groves.
Arrive in Merzouga for a camel trek into the Sahara dunes at sunset.
Dinner, music, and stargazing at a luxury desert camp.
Overnight in Sahara desert camp.
Day 5: Merzouga → Todra Gorge → Dades Valley (5–6 hrs drive)
Sunrise over the dunes, return by camel or 4x4.
Visit Rissani market and fossil workshops in Erfoud.
Explore Todra Gorge, with its towering cliffs.
Continue to the scenic Dades Valley.
Overnight in Dades Valley.
Day 6: Dades Valley → Ait Ben Haddou → High Atlas → Marrakech (6–7 hrs drive)
Drive via Rose Valley and Skoura palm groves.
Visit Ouarzazate and the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah (UNESCO).
Cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass.
Arrive in Marrakech in the evening.
