From the Atlas Mountains through cinematic kasbahs, then deep into the Sahara Desert with camel rides and starry nights, and finally up to alpine forests and the cultural heart of Fes. Ideal for travelers who want to experience desert magic without committing to long stretches.

Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech → High Atlas → Aït Ben Haddou → Rose Valley → Boumalne Dades (≈ 6 hrs drive)
Pick-up in Marrakech (hotel or riad).
Drive over the High Atlas via Tizi-n’Tichka Pass, stopping for panoramic views.
Visit the UNESCO-listed Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah.
Continue to Ouarzazate, then through Rose Valley to Boumalne Dades.
Overnight in Boumalne Dades.
Day 2: Boumalne Dades → Todra Gorge → Erfoud → Merzouga Sahara Desert (≈ 5 hrs drive)
Morning in the Dades Valley. Explore its dramatic landscape.
Head to Todra Gorge, walk through the tall canyon.
Continue to Erfoud, the fossil town.
Arrive Merzouga in the afternoon; at sunset, ride a camel into the dunes. Dinner under the stars in a luxury desert camp.
Overnight in Merzouga Desert Camp.
Day 3: Merzouga Region Exploration (≈ 2 hrs drive for regional stops + local exploring)
Early sunrise over the dunes. Breakfast at the camp.
Explore nomadic life, visit Khamlia village for Gnawa music, palm groves, wild lake, fossil mines, and desert oases.
Return to Merzouga for the evening.
Overnight in Merzouga.
Day 4: Merzouga → Rissani → Erfoud → Midelt → Ifrane → Fes (≈ 7 hrs drive)
Depart from the desert, stop at Rissani market.
Travel through Erfoud, lunch in Midelt.
Visit cedar forests (Azrou) and observe Barbary macaques.
Continue to Ifrane, “Switzerland of Morocco,” and finish the journey in Fes.
Drop off at your hotel.
End of tour.
