This private 3-day desert tour packs Morocco’s most iconic landscapes into a short but rich itinerary. Travel from Marrakech across the High Atlas via the Tizi-n’Tichka Pass, experience Aït Ben Haddou, Rose Valley, and dramatic gorges. Wander through the Sahara dunes in Merzouga, witness desert sunrises, visit fossil towns, and finish with mountain scenery and cedar forests before arriving in Fes.

Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech → High Atlas → Aït Ben Haddou → Rose Valley → Dades Valley
Early pick-up from your Marrakech accommodation.
Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n’Tichka Pass, stopping for panoramic views.
Visit the UNESCO-listed Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah.
Proceed through Ouarzazate for lunch, then through Rose Valley and the palm groves of Skoura.
End the day in the dramatic landscapes of Dades Valley.
Overnight in Boumalne Dades.
Day 2: Dades Valley → Todra Gorge → Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, explore Dades Valley viewpoints.
Travel to Todra Gorge; walk through the canyon.
Continue through palm groves of Tinjdad and Touroug.
Arrive in Merzouga for sunset camel trek into the dunes.
Dinner under the stars and overnight in a luxury desert camp.
Overnight in Merzouga Desert Camp.
Day 3: Merzouga Sunrise → Erfoud → Midelt → Ifrane → Fes
Early morning sunrise in the dunes. Breakfast at the camp.
Return by camel or 4×4 to Merzouga.
Drive through Rissani and Erfoud (fossil town), then through the Ziz Valley.
Continue through Midelt and past cedar forests in Azrou. Observe Barbary macaques.
Arrive in Ifrane, then continue to your destination, ending in Fes.
Drop-off at your accommodation in Fes.
End of tour.
