Set off from Errachidia, cross into the Sahara, stay in a luxury desert camp under the stars, and wind your way back to Fes through dramatic scenery—Rissani’s souk, Erfoud’s fossils, and the cedar-forests of the Middle Atlas. This private tour makes the most of short time by packing in desert adventures, local culture, and natural beauty.

Itinerary
Day 1: Errachidia → Merzouga (≈ 2-3 hrs drive)
Pick-up in Errachidia (hotel or airport).
Travel south to the Sahara, making stops along the Ziz Valley.
Arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon. Evening camel ride into the sand dunes for sunset.
Dinner and overnight in a luxury desert camp.
Day 2: Merzouga Region Exploration
Early morning sunrise in the dunes; breakfast at camp.
Visit a nomadic tented community; enjoy Berber tea.
Explore the Khamlia (Gnaoua music village) and an old eyeliner mine.
Stroll through palm groves, visit the seasonal wild lake near Merzouga.
Sunset camel ride back to camp; desert dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Merzouga → Rissani → Erfoud → Ziz Valley → Azrou → Ifrane → Fes (≈ 7-8 hrs drive)
Sunrise camel ride (if desired) then breakfast at camp.
Depart desert heading toward Fes. Stop in Rissani souk. Visit Erfoud (fossils). Drive through the scenic Ziz Valley, lunch in Midelt. Visit the Cedar Forest near Azrou. Pass through Ifrane (“Switzerland of Morocco”) before arriving in Fes in the evening.
End of Tour.
