Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Tangier → Chefchaouen (~2 hrs drive)
Pick-up from your hotel, port, or airport in Tangier.
Visit Cape Spartel and the Cave of Hercules.
Scenic drive through Tetouan and the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen.
Arrival and check-in at your riad.
Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Day 2: Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Fes (~4 hrs drive)
Morning free to explore Chefchaouen's blue-washed alleys.
Depart for Volubilis to visit the UNESCO-listed Roman ruins.
Continue to Meknes to see Bab Mansour, Sahrij Souani, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.
Arrival in Fes and check-in at your riad.
Overnight in Fes.
Day 4: Fes → Ifrane → Cedar Forest → Midelt → Merzouga (~7 hrs drive)
Depart Fes via Ifrane, known as the "Switzerland of Morocco."
Visit the cedar forests near Azrou, home to Barbary macaques.
Continue through Midelt and the Ziz Valley.
Arrive in Merzouga; enjoy a sunset camel trek into the dunes.
Overnight in Merzouga Desert Camp.
Day 5: Merzouga → Rissani → Erfoud → Todra Gorges → Dades Valley (~5–6 hrs drive)
Sunrise camel ride in the dunes.
Visit Rissani market and Erfoud's fossil workshops.
Explore Todra Gorges and Dades Valley.
Overnight in Dades Valley.
Day 6: Dades Valley → Rose Valley → Ouarzazate → Aït Ben Haddou → High Atlas → Marrakech (~6–7 hrs drive)

Visit Ouarzazate and Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou (UNESCO).

Explore Essaouira: port, medina, ramparts, seafood by the sea.
Overnight in Essaouira.
Day 9: Essaouira → Casablanca (~4 hrs drive)
Depart Essaouira after breakfast, head to Casablanca.
Visit Hassan II Mosque, Corniche, Mohammed V Square, perhaps Rick’s Café.
Overnight in Casablanca.
Day 10: Casablanca → Tangier (~5 hrs drive)
